Order Form

Scrip dates for September are Tuesday, September 2 an Monday, Septmeber 8, 15, 22 and 29.

From September to April, gift cards that can be used in our local area are sold through the Scrip Program. Assessment percentages are listed on the weekly order forms. All Scrip activity is conducted through the school on the dates marked on the monthly calendar.

The Scrip envelope is used during the entire school year, (just as we use the monthly family envelope). It will contain an order form for the Scrip program. When you place an order you will send the envelope back to school with the completed order form and your check payment. The same envelope will be used to send certificates back to you with a new order form. They will be sent home with your youngest child attending St. Therese.

How Scrip Works
Great Lakes Scrip is a company that works with businesses to carry their gift cards at a discount price (the percentage is passed on to you). Scrip has thousands of vendors. We chose those vendors in our area and listed them on the order form. Whenever there is a new vendor added on to Scrip we add it on the order form.

Place your order with us. We tally all of the orders and place our order on the internet with Scrip. Because of the order processing procedures at Scrip, once we place our order and finalize it we cannot add any items on. Scrip then does an EFT from our account and processes our order. Our order is shipped out the next day (two days later during the month of December). You will almost always receive your order on Wednesday (unless we do not have school on Monday and our order is placed on Tuesday. You will then receive your order on Thursday). When we receive our order from Scrip we go through ALL of the gift cards and count them. We then spend anywhere from 2 to 4 hours filling all of your orders. We then sort all of the envelopes and send them to the classrooms to be sent home with your youngest child.

When items are on back order from Scrip we are notified on our packing list when we receive our order. We are not notified ahead of time and we do not know which certificates (if any) will be on back order. If an item is on backorder it is sent to us with our next order. (This occurs closer to Christmas. It is recommended that you order early for Christmas.) If you know you will be in need of an item DO NOT wait until the week you need it to place your order. Place your order two weeks prior to avoid a backorder.

We do not order extra of any gift certificates. We DO NOT keep cards at our homes. Giant Eagle Certificates are available at the Rectory during their business hours. All Scrip activity is conducted through the school on the dates marked on the monthly calendar.

Some of the gift cards are not on Scrip. We added these on as a benefit to the school families. We actually have to pick most of them up, including Shop-N-Save, Visa and the $10 AMC Cinema cards.

Many of you asked about McDonalds and Foodland. These cards are not offered by Scrip as they do not currently offer discounted gift cards. If they ever join Scrip we will be glad to add them.
