Dress Code
- Navy or Red Sweatshirts with school monogram: Pullover, Front Zipper Hooded, Pullover Hooded
- Navy or Red Fleece Jackets: Pullover, 1/4 Zippered Fleece, Full Zippered
- White or Red Sweaters: V-Neck Pullover, V-Neck Pullover Vest, Crew Neck Pullover, Cardigan V-Neck
- Navy, Red, or White Long Sleeve Turtleneck
- Navy, Red, or White Short or Long Sleeve 3-Button Placket Knit Shirt
- Banded Bottom Knit Overshirt with Monongram
- Navy or Khaki Dress Slacks worn at the Waist Level
- Navy or Khaki Knee-Length Walking Shorts worn at Waist Level (Worn from the beginning of School until October 15 and from April 15th to the End of School)
Note: "Dress slacks" means that sport pants, jeans or jeans-type may not be worn. (A good rule of thumb would be that extra zippers and patch pockets are unacceptable; only internal pockets may be worn.)
Girls' Uniform Options
- Navy/Khaki/Red Plaid Jumper, 2 Kick Pleat Skirt, Split Skirt, Front Flat Skort (also in navy and khaki) - length is 2 to 3 inches above top of knee
- Short and Long Sleeve White Blouse with Collar
Additional Dress Code Requisites
- Blouses and shirts must be tucked in at waist with the exception of the banded shirts.
- Wear solid color crew or knee socks (red, navy, white), stockings, or tights-- sport socks are not acceptable.
- Athletic shoes may be worn every day-laced and tied-no wheels or lights
- All pants and shorts must be worn at the waist. If they have belt hoops, a belt must be worn.
- Hair on male students can be no longer than the top of the shirt collar.
- White tee shirts only may be worn under shirts.
NOT PERMITTED
- Excessive or large jewelry, hoop earrings, excessive make-up
- Extreme hair colors or fad hairstyles, hair colored or shaved in whole or part, body glitter,
- bandannas, headscarf, jean-style pants, sweat bands, body piercings
- Students who are out of uniform will receive a written warning, may lose recess time, and/or may call home for a change of clothes.
Physical Education Dress Code
Students in grades 1-5 need not change clothes for physical education. On the days physical education is scheduled, they may wear the following to school:
Athletic shoes
Navy or Khaki Knee-Length Walking Shorts (Note dates listed above)
Navy Blue Knit-like Pants (not dress pants)--comfortable, but not baggy
Students in Grades 6 to 8 will change clothes for physical education classes.
They must bring proper dress. Long shorts/jogging pants, tee shirt/sweatshirt, athletic shoes, and socks are required.
Dress Down Days
Attire must be clean, neat, and modest; nothing tight, ripped, torn, or ragged may be worn. Only long shorts (2-3 inches above the knee) are permitted. Athletic shoes, jeans or sweat pants, and T-shirts are permitted. T-shirts with appropriate logos and words may be worn. If clothing is inappropriate, a student may not be permitted to participate in future dress-down days.
Dress Up Days
Students are to wear modest attire equal in formality to the uniform or better. Above guidelines are to be followed for length of skirts.
Kindergarten and Preschool
Students in preschool and kindergarten do not wear a uniform. Neat play clothes and practical shoes or sneakers may be worn.
Uniform Exchange
Bring in a school uniform item and you can exchange it for another one on the first Friday of each month between 1:30 and 2:00 in the school cafeteria. If the size you need is not available, you will get the next one that is brought in. If you do not have items to exchange, you may purchase gently used ones. Prices range from $2.00 to $5.00.
